Awesome… thats all I have to say about these Lego creations Angry Bird style. I can even hear the theme song ringing in my ears now… If only Lego had the rights to sell sets of these…they would sell millions.
Lots of pics after the jump. All of the pics on the facebook album via Tsang Yiu Keung (aka Chiukeung).
Ha! Have you ever seen a website or ad and just wondered…what was their marketing department thinking? “Things Real People Don’t Say About Advertising” takes a crack at marketing with very truthful strategies they seem to add to everything for no great reasons. Take a glance at their site, but I’ll post a few of my favorites below after the jump.
A pretty amazing set of macro shots of our very own human eyes. Our eyes make me think of outer space. Makes me wonder how different our eyes are compared to cats, fish, and other creatures.

Some more images mirrored after the jump.
This video is making it around the web this week, and it’s pretty awesome. Ted Williams is homeless and holds a sign saying he has a “golden voice” and needs some help. Eventually, someone stopped by and recorded their encounter, posted it on youtube, and now Ted has several job offers. Pretty amazing story. Watch the video above, then an extra video after the jump about this drastic 20 hour change from the street to a job offer from the Cavaliers, a house, and cell phone, and lots of media.
I’ve only recently para glided and I’ve skied quite a bit, but the combination I’ve never thought about until this video above. Seems pretty amazing, but I’ve got a feeling it’s mighty chilly in the sky. As cool as this is, I still find the base jumping v2 to the walls video a bit more insane! I’ll put that video after the jump if you have not seen it.
With all this crazy TSA news this past month an idea like 4th Amendment Wear was bound to happen. Pretty cool, though I’m not sure if it would actually work. Wonder if duck tape would show up… Tape drawing time! Otherwise, send me a pair, and maybe i’ll find out if it works!
Ha, these WTF posters gave me a great big smile. Would be a great series of posters to have around the studio space! I want!!! (anyone know how to get these!)
While attending TEDmed2010 I had the amazing opportunity to touch and feel a living breathing lung! Watch the video above and wait for it to breath in! The machine (Vitrolife) keeping this lung alive has been used to save 30+ human lives in keeping organs alive while patients prepare allowing a much longer timespan from donation to transplantation. It’s quite amazing to touch and a life changing experience to realize how precious our bodies are. These lungs are incredibly soft, almost like a soft, warm, living gel… actually very much like a piece of fat.
This lung in particular is a pigs lung, but I’ll include a video of a human lung after the jump. Also I’ll share a picture of Martha Stewart taking a picture of this very lung I touched and the picture she tweeted out in her experience.
Human lung video after the jump, and matha stewart images:
Oh woa! how awesome. A printer that makes shapes, slices them, then they float up into the sky. A floating foam printer I guess (I’m thinking theres a bit of Helium inside the foam). Anyhow, what a great little invention. I want I want!
