How to Eat a Chicken Wing
As the Thanksgiving holiday nears, tables full of food, drinks, and discussion with family from afar gather to learn about each others lives and news. If you have nothing new to say, here’s a video trick ya’ll can share while eating wings…. how to eat a wing correctly…or at least how to perfect deboning it.

Bull Leaping
I’ve become fascinated with a so called sport called Bull-Leaping, where bull-fighting heroes let go of their capes and spears to dodge, leap, and fly over raging horned bulls. As thrilling as it is to see, I’m sure it’s a huge rush flying over the bull superman style.

Eric Testroete: Paper Portraits
I’ve seen tons of creative Halloween costumes in the past, but with the popularity of big head Wii characters and DYI costumes, I’d have to give Eric Testroete an awesome star for his big head paper kraft costume this year which as he mentions is very much like Bert Simons projects (posted before). I’m not sure how he ate candy or sipped some goodies that night, but it sure is an eye opener!

Very odd but cool slow motion video capture of people in Japan running towards a camera acting goofy. I love the little kid at about 3 minutes in.

“Evolver is an architectural artefact intervening on the panorama surrounding Zermatt. It was designed and executed by a team of 2nd year students from the ALICE Studio at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. In an effort to take full advantage of the site’s extensive and astounding views, the project sits strategically next to the lake Stelli at an altitude of 2,536 m (8,320 feet).”

Gadgetoff 2009: Boom!
After lunch, came the carnival ride known as the Regurgitator! Supposedly it’ flings a human around up to 5 g’s… that’s when the face goes pale!
James Patten shows off his tangible AudioPad project from several years ago. He’s made several adjustments to it since I first played with it in 2004 at the MIT MediaLab.
Bre Pettis introduces us to his very own DIY home made 3D printer. Assembled just like an FDM printer which is basically a hot glue gun printing thin layers of an object at a time. This one doesn’t print supportive structures so it is a bit limited on printable shapes.
Bruce Shapiro brought over some of his classic egg shell printers. Plop a pen in, create a design, and watch the magic unfold!

Pancake Picking Robot! (with beats)
I’m quite familiar with the manufacturing world, but I’ve never seen a smart robot arm made for picking up pancakes for stacking! (FLexpicker). Seriously this robotic arm is quite impressive. Let’s yank this arm out and use it as a poker dealer, street trash picker, or something like a burger flipper! Keep the idea flowing with fast smart automated robots, just like the fun Robocoaster!
